Questions
What should I expect during my appointment?
MUSE
We will start your appointment with a full consultation where you will fill out a standard waiver, we will review your medical history, discuss the process, answer any questions, and take “before” photos.

After discussion and clarification of the desired shape, we will begin the pre-drawing part, where we’ll be creating a desired shape on the tattooed area and discuss any facial features we need to balance, create more symmetry, or recreate if needed.

Once you are completely satisfied with your new shape, I custom-blend the perfect color pigment – making sure it compliments your skin tone and reflects your natural hair and eye color.

Next, we move to the tattooing part, during which I’ll be using topical anesthetics that may contain lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine, epinephrine, or a combination.
When you are completely satisfied with the results, we will take after photos, discuss aftercare, make an appointment for your touchup, and you will receive a complimentary after-care kit to help ensure proper healing.
Questions
Do I need a touch-up?
MUSE
Touch-ups are an inevitable part of cosmetic tattooing that helps to stabilize the color and ensures its longevity. Due to the uniqueness of each individual’s skin and superficial pigment application, the results vary from client to client, and touch-ups help to provide any adjustments needed. These sessions are not included in the initial price and need to be booked between 5-8 weeks from the time of your first session.
Questions
Does it hurt?
MUSE
Although everyone’s pain tolerance is unique, most clients report very mildly to no pain at all. Consistent application of anesthetic typically keeps clients very comfortable, but if you do not respond to numbing, there can be some discomfort. Please DO NOT come during your period and schedule accordingly. During your period you may be more sensitive! After the service, you may have some slight redness and/or swelling. Lips generally calm down within 24 hours. Eyeliner may swell more the next 2 days after the procedure, rather than right after. There may be some redness around the brows, like after waxing, it should go away within a day or two.
Questions
How long does it take?
MUSE
Because I ensure your complete satisfaction, I ask that you plan on the initial appointment. I break out around 2 hours for Brows, 2,5-3 hours for lips, and one hour for lash enhancement. However, depending on the skin, its volume, and individual nuances this time may vary. Please check the length of each procedure within the booking system. Touch Ups run for 1 hour for lips and brows or less.
Questions

Questions
HOW LONG DOES cosmetic tattoos last?
MUSE
Usually, people think that it will either fade completely or it will last forever. Neither is true. In order for PMU to last a longer time and maintain desired color and shape it will need frequent (once a year) refresh treatments. On the other hand fading is different for each individual and depends on skin care products, sun exposure, metabolism and lifestyle. For most people their tattoo will last between 1-3 years if done with touchup and can be refreshed after 1 year of wear.
